Due to some dumb coding decisions when I first created the Walrus script, I've got hundreds of webcomics requesting the "current version" images from my server, and sometimes there are so many at once that it brings the whole server down! So, what I decided to do is, instead of trying to fight it, just to redirect all traffic from Life of Wily and the Walrus PHP website here first. Then, if you're an actual person trying to visit the site you can just click a link and go there, but if the request is coming from an old, outdated version of the script, looking for that update image, then my server is saved from having to process (and decline) that request.

I've seen "Walrus 3 is coming very soon" for a really, really long time now. In fact I've seen a few forum entries across the web dating back a couple of years mentioning 3 was going to be released soon. Was just wondering if you have a timetable or anything or if it really is coming soon.
I too am curious about Walrus 3, is it really coming?
